Arrive at our dive center to meet your dive instructors and prepare for your double tank night dive. We’ll provide you with all the necessary equipment and assist with fitting to ensure you’re comfortable for both dives.
Our expert instructors will give a thorough briefing on the two-night dives, including safety procedures, dive techniques, and how to manage your dive torches. We’ll also cover what marine life you may encounter, such as nocturnal fish, moray eels, and other fascinating creatures that come alive at night.
After the briefing, we’ll board the boat and set off to the dive site, located in the pristine waters of Hiriketiya Bay. Enjoy the peaceful boat ride as you relax and get ready for the adventure ahead.
First Tank Dive: The first dive will focus on exploring the rich coral reefs, illuminated by your dive light. During this dive, you'll have the chance to see a variety of fish species, invertebrates, and the glowing bioluminescent plankton that light up the water. The first dive usually takes 40-50 minutes, depending on the group’s air consumption and dive site conditions.
Your instructor will guide you through the dive, pointing out unique marine life and reef features that you might otherwise miss.
After the first dive, we’ll surface and take a short break aboard the boat to relax and hydrate. This surface interval is important for your safety and comfort before heading into the second dive. Light refreshments will be provided, and you’ll have time to discuss the first dive and gear up for the next.
Second Tank Dive: The second dive will take you deeper into the bay, where you can explore different marine environments, including rock formations and deeper reefs. The second dive offers the chance to see different nocturnal creatures that are active in these areas, such as octopuses, moray eels, and other night-dwelling fish.
Both dives will be led by our expert instructors, ensuring your safety while maximizing your chance of spotting unique underwater life.
The second dive will be similar in length to the first (around 30-45 minutes), with ample time to explore the underwater nightscape.
After the second dive, we’ll return to shore and disembark from the boat. You can reflect on the amazing sights you encountered during your night dives.
No, beginners can participate in our Discover Scuba Dive session with an instructor.
A swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, and a change of clothes.

There are no specific restrictions, but divers should be physically healthy.
If weather conditions are unsafe, we will reschedule your dive or offer a full refund.
