The night dive at Hikkaduwa offers a magical experience where the reef takes on a whole new persona in the dark. The water is calm, and visibility is still clear, with up to 10-15 meters. The bioluminescence is a highlight, as plankton and some marine animals light up the water with a soft glow. This is a unique opportunity to witness the secret world of aquatic life after dark.
Guided by our experienced instructors, you'll get a firsthand look at the behavior of nocturnal marine creatures. The dive will be conducted at a slow, controlled pace, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.

The PADI Open Water Diver certification is the world’s most recognized entry-level scuba diving certification. It allows you to dive independently (with a buddy) up to 18 meters (60 feet) anywhere in the world.
The course typically takes 3 days, depending on your learning pace and weather conditions.
No, this course is designed for complete beginners. If you're comfortable in the water and meet the swimming requirements, you’re good to go!
You must be able to:
✅ Swim 200 meters (or 300 meters with a mask and fins) without stopping
✅ Float or tread water for 10 minutes
The fee covers:
✅ PADI Training Materials (e-learning or physical manual)
✅ Full Scuba Gear (BCD, regulator, wetsuit, fins, mask, etc.)
✅ Pool/Confined Water Training

Yes! You can do the PADI eLearning online before arriving, so you spend more time diving and less time in the classroom.
You must complete a PADI Medical Questionnaire. If you have conditions like asthma, heart issues, or recent surgeries, you may need a doctor’s approval before diving.
Yes! With proper training and following safety guidelines, scuba diving is very safe. Our PADI instructors are trained to ensure a fun and secure experience.
If you cannot finish the full course, you may get credit for what you’ve completed and continue later. You can also earn a PADI Scuba Diver certification (a shorter version allowing dives up to 12m).
